6) When you start running, Good Form will help you go faster, prevent injury and run for longer. Here are the basics for good running form:
- Try to keep your arms at waist level, relax your hands, and maintain good posture.
- Avoid bouncing and try to land softly in order to reduce stress on your knees and other joints.
- Land on your heels or mid-foot and then roll forward to the toe.
- Don’t run on your toes. Running on your toes will make your shins start hurting and your calves tight.
