So what is the best diet to lose weight? A question that has been posed by many, and answered by few if any. The truth of the matter is there is no best diet to lose weight. There are better diets then others, some let you lose weight really fast, having the drawback of making you gain it all back in the same amount of time after you discontinue the diet. The better diet will have you losing the pounds slower but with a longer lasting effect.
Reviewing some of the diet plans that are out there, the ones that come to the forefront as being the better ones are Jenny Craig, Dr. Bernstein Diet, a diet plan by Charlene Chen, R.D, and mostly the diet plans that have been around for a while. Beware of the quick money making schemes that make you believe in the effectiveness of the diet and lead into false sense of weight loss. These types of diets will have you eating nothing but watermelon and drinking jugs of water, a results of which will be the extremely quick weight loss, damage to your body, and a rapid gain of weight the minute you stop using the diet.
Naturally there are diets that fall into the in between category, things like colon cleansing diet, that could last for a week or two, lets you clean out your insides and in general will make you lose a bit of weight. And as a follow up on this type of diet make sure you continue with healthy food choices and excercise to keep up the weight loss and normal function of your body.
Remember the best diet to lose weight is in your hands. Eat moderately, eat healthy, excercise a few times a week if you have a sitting only job, or a couple of times if you are active, don’t over eat and things will be alright. Lose weight now, quickly and efficiently.
